Additional Library Volunteer Opportunities

  • For general volunteer opportunities at the Library, please complete this online application. Volunteers 18 years of age and older must complete a Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Check. Please note that any listings asking for 'teens' assumes completion of Grade 8 and less than 19 years of age.
  • Our Visiting Library Service is offered to customers who cannot visit the library due to age, illness, or disability. Volunteers deliver library materials to or pick-up from customer homes and seniors’ residences approximately once per month. Apply online.
  • If you are 55+ and a resident of Ajax, the Library needs you! We are looking for members to form our 2021-2022 Older Adults Advisory Committee. Share your ideas on how the Library can prepare for a growing older adult population and provide services that are accessible and inclusive of older residents with diverse needs. Interested in being a part of that discussion? Apply online!
