We are proud to become designated as a Positive Space. This means the Library has met standards that identify our branches as spaces where human rights are respected and where lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, two-spirited and queer people as well as asexual, allies and their friends and families, are welcome and supported.
One of the our strategic priorities is to ensure customers will have a safe and welcoming space to meet and interact with others or to read or work quietly. This designation helps us to reach that goal.
We invite you to celebrate this designation with us.
