Meet the Candidates
Barkley
My name is Barkley, and I love ruffing around in the Makerspace! I love to get my zoomies out at the Library, especially at the Makerspace! There’s always so much to do and learn. What’s your favourite thing to do at the Makerspace? The Makerspace is great because when I chew through all the cushions at home, I can just use the sewing machines to stitch them back together—problem solved! I also made my dog tag there. You can really do it all at the Makerspace!
Bizzy
My name may be Bizzy, but I’m never too busy for programs at the Library! What is your favourite Library program (or programs!) to attend? I love to attend any programs that have crafts! My personal favourite is usually the PA Day Craft and Movies—a craft and a show! I also love Imagination Station, LEGO, the storytimes… I want to do it all! Good thing I have wings so I can get to programs faster.
Dewey
My name is Dewey, and I love to roll around and stretch in the play areas at all the branches! Especially the foam blocks at Main Branch—they’re the best to roll around in and do a big stretch. Which Library branch has your favourite play area? When I’m done playing around with the foam blocks at Main Branch, or amusing myself with the toys at Audley and McLean, I like to find a cozy spot somewhere in the Library to curl up and read (preferably in the sun!).
Sheldon
My name is Sheldon, and my favourite thing about the Library is the online resources and databases! My personal favourite is Explora to help me with school projects. Do you have a favourite online resource or database that you use? When I’m done doing all my research, Kanopy is my go-to when I want to curl up in my shell and relax. From movies to TV shows to documentaries, Kanopy’s got it all!
